Celanese Introduces A在负荷下3 小时后高度变化的百分比和撤去负荷后.5 小时的恢复率crylic, VAE Products for Formulation of Low-VOC Coatings
Celanese Emulsion Polymers (Dallas, Texas) introduced Avicor 601, an acrylic polymer emulsion for use in architectural paints across the entire gloss spectrum, and the first in a new product line to be developed by the company.
The company also expanded its range of eco-friendly emulsions with the introduction of EcoVAE 501, a vinyl acetate/ethylene (VAE) emulsion designed to allow formulation at VOC levels below 50 grams per liter in flat to semigloss paint formulations.
Avicor 601 is described as a 100% acrylic, APE-free emulsion with low viscosity and a fine particle size, and is reported to offer good adhesion and block resistance in flat to semigloss paints. The product is formulated for blending with the company’s vinyl-based resins such vinyl acetate/ethylene (VAE) and vinyl acrylics to a则可判定该批箱不合格chieve optimal performance and economic results.
The company said it has conducted blend studies utilizing the acrylic emulsion with both vinyl acetate/ethylene and vinyl acrylic em5、有效实验宽度Valid width： 约420mmulsions, and with other resins to optimize interior paint formulas to meet the desired performance characteristics for wet and dry adhesion and scrub and block resistance in the complete sheen range. Blends also allow formulation of coatings that fulfill marketing assertions of low environmental impact, the company said.
